Sandy,
In a reply to one of my messages, Terry Warren said that the culprit file is
named fastfat.sys and that the way around this problem is to replace this
file with an older version of this file.
You might want to direct this question to Terry.

My son upgraded Win 98 to Win 2000 on my laptop.
In the process I lost Boot Manager.
I boot OS/2 from floppies and used Fdisk to reinitialize Boot Manager.
However, now when I try to boot the laptop, it shows a corrupted screen
and freezes.
I can make the C drive active and boot into Windows, but I can't figure
how to get back into OS/2.
How can I uncorrupt boot manager?
Thanks,
Sandy
