It wasn't, but it's okay now. Right after my last message I started
getting "large quantities" of SYS3186, SYS3175 and SYS3171.
At first I thought it was flaky memory since my maintenance partition
gave me the same. But when I got back in this evening it wouldn't boot
up at all and the BIOS couldn't find either of the Primary IDE drives.
Remembering how we fixed almost everything in the studios and the
mainframes, I reseated the Primary IDE cable and everything is now
working fine.
Of course, right after I send this message it'll probably die again.
Guess I better start an extra backup.
I haven't got the slightest idea if an oxidized connection on an IDE
cable can cause all your spooler files to be held.
