This is really weird. I tested this earlier today and it wouldn't work.
Here's the test I ran. I created two spool jobs:
[H:\temp]dir w
10-27-01 2:31p 1884 54 w
[H:\temp]print /d:lpt1 w
[H:\temp]print /d:lpt1 w
and then highlighted both print jobs and RMB'd. There was _no_ option
to hold the individual jobs.
But I just ran the exact same test and _now_ I can hold the jobs.
Further, when I couldn't hold the jobs earlier I tried it with _three_
different drivers -- the 18-month-old LaserJet driver I had been using,
the brand new one from IBM (just downloaded it today), and the DeskJet
driver (which is different from the LaserJet driver). None of them
allowed me to RMB and hold multiple print jobs.
Go figure. There is no way I'm gonna believe a flakey IDE cable could
cause this.
