Thanks. I see they're all linked through the 6-digit i.d.'s.

Now that I know what I'm doing (no wisecracks) I went ahead and set the
default Browser to my H:\Warpzilla\bin\mozilla.exe browser. The URL
objects no longer try to start WebExplorer -- tally ho, I'm on my way.

But now when I click on any URL object, the object's Properties window
opens. The Open As menu now shows mozilla.exe but it won't run either
-- gives a "Cannot run mozilla.exe" error message. I know the value is
okay because when I copy & paste it to the command line, mozilla.exe
runs fine (i.e. no typos in the value).

Here's the complete error message given by the Open As selection:

Cannot run mozilla.exe. Make sure the
file is an OS/2 or DOS program or that
it is associated with one. There might
not be enough memory available to run
the program.

As I said above, I know the entry is valid because it works from the
command line. I have enough memory because mozilla.exe starts up fine
from the command line.

I'm stuck. Any ideas?

I have assoed21 (never installed). The only difference from 2.0
according to the readme is compatibility with WPTOOLS.DLL. For what
it's worth, the WPTOOLS.DLL (Oct 22 1999) supplied with assoed21 is
older than the WPTOOLS.DLL (Jan27 2000) supplied with Henk's WPTools
package.

At first it wouldn't run, but that turned out to be an error in the
installation instructions in the readme. It's now in my \apps\ tree and
works fine.

I think if I can just get the URL objects to actually start
non-WebExplorer browser instead of opening the Properties window,
everything will be "okay".
