If you are responding to someone asking for help who
may not be a member of this list, be sure to use the
REPLY TO ALL feature of your email program.

Ray,

Try going to the OS/2 commandline and printing by redirecting the normal
screen output of the DIR command to the printer. That is, on the
commandline type and enter the following:

DIR C:\*.* > LPT1

Substitute your boot drive for C:\ (if it is different). Substitute in
LPT2 or LPT3, if you are using them, instead of LPT1. If your DIR
command is set up to pause after a full screen, you will have to press
the ENTER key several times until you get a command prompt. You have to
do that, because the DIR command will probably output several pages to
the printer and you won't get the prompt back until you cycle through
all the pauses. Anyway, you should be able to get this simple output
from your printer. If you don't, your printer and/or driver are not
communicating with the OS.
