Hi Steven
Thanks for your help.
My setup.cmd under x:\TCPip\Samples\BIN looks like following:
------------------------------------
route -fh
arp -f
ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1
REM ifconfig lan0
REM ifconfig lan1
REM ifconfig lan2
REM ifconfig lan3
REM ifconfig lan4
REM ifconfig lan5
REM ifconfig lan6
REM ifconfig lan7
REM ifconfig sl0
ipgate off
------------------------------------
Rechecking I also noticed my typo in the error message I had
provided !
------------------------------------------------------------------
ROUTE: "command" failed: Network is unreachable
ROUTE: "command" failed: Network is unreachable
Press enter to continue ...
------------------------------------------------------------------
My writing was "connect" instead of "command" and I did not
mention
that this Route message appears double: Here is the correct
display !
Sorry ;-(
Sorry, I am unable to deal with this SETUP.CMD ...
... nor do I have an idea how and what to do now ;-((
Why was my old MPTN/TCPIP stuff running before and
now with MPTN/TCPIP 4.3 inclusive Fixpack it doesn't anymore ;-(((
TCPIP was set with TCPCFG2 like it was with the previous version.
Did I oversee something different or new there ?
Well, I just experimented (hacked !?) ,,,
... and got a different error message then:
------------------------------------------------------------------
ROUTE: "command" failed: File exists
Press enter to continue ...
------------------------------------------------------------------
After this I deleted the NET entry in the Route Tab and only left
the DEFAULT entry and got no error message anymore ;-)
BUT I also do not have access to the network ...
... unfortunately I am also unable to provide print screens
currently ;-((
For the moment I am totally lost ;-|
The environment looks like following:
My systems are having static IP addresses, i.e 192.168.144.1 and
up.
The router has 192.168.144.254 and the print server has
192.168.144.253.
What else do I need to check or provide ?
Thanks in advance for further assistance !
Regards, svobi

You have an extra route command in setup.cmd. You can either
removed it
by hand or use the TCPIP config GUI.
