Hello
Confusing, confusing: Sorry again !
I mismatched and the subject does not match the body's text here
;-(

I had 2 topics indeeed:

1) How to I get activated my new 2GB PCMCIA HDD on my notebook ?
2) How do I manage best / easiest 2 different NICs on my notebook
?

# 1
Not the topic here but solved already ;-)
I got my PCMCIA HDD running with some additional entries to the
CONFIG.SYS !

PS:
Dani's drivers (DaniS506.ADD, DaniDASD & DaniATAP(i) are default
on all my systems ;-))

#2
Docked it shall use the 3C509 NIC and mobile it shall use the
3COM PCMCIA Combo !?

I know that I could use 2 profiles either "DOCKED" or "MOBILE"
and use the respectively NIC !
This needs the observation on system start to catch the correct
profile !?

My intention is to put both the NIC entries into the CONFIG.SYS
that, whatever is found, is
working either the ISA or the PCMCIA NIC.

Is this a possible solution ? Is it an intelligent one too ??

How do you manage conditions / situations like this and what are
your suggestions
to solve this best and easiest ?

Thanks in advance for your hints and suggestions ;-)
Regards, svobi

I'm not exactly sure what you need for this. I would check out
the
Daniela's DANIS506. It provides support for PCMCIA hard drives.
