Interestingly, this morning my son sent a jpg file that he sent earlier.
I was not able to open it with MR/2 Ice. When I went to the mime settings
association page, the MIME type/subtype had changed back to text/plain and
Text Description to Viewable Test. File Suffix to TXT and Viewer command
to e.exe%s, After resetting associations of type to image/* and viewer
command to ib"%s", they are not being retained.

I will have to worry about this after returning from Wyoming for a couple
of days.
