I have been running Norman Virus Control for OS/2 for over a year.
Suggestions:

(1) Redownload the archive - perhaps corrupt?
(2) I assume that other viral software have been removed from your system
prior to the installation of NVC. (3) Back Again/2000 scheduler back in
12/01 did not get along with NVC; I do not know if this was ever fixed.
For references on this, search the actual ecomstation newserver around
12/01 plus/minus 2 months; will not show up via Google. (4) Mozilla 0.98
?? had problems with NVC IMO but since no one is using this build of
Mozilla any more.......

The last time I talked to Norman's tech support via email was 12/01. Very
helpful. I just bought a couple more licenses for NVC.
