I wouldn't bother. After a fresh install, there's really not much to be
made better. The issues usually arise after the system and run for
several years and has undergone multiple hardware and software
modifications.
You might want to give cfgtool a try. Some folks like the way it can
layout the config.sys and make it a bit more readable. The hints it
provides can often be useful.
