Are you saying that you saw the iptrace start up info and there was no sign of the log file in the
laptop's directory where you were working or was the log file simply zero length?
If it wasn't there did you look for it in another directory?
If it was zero length, try turning on iptrace and browse a web site. If there is a log (probably
huge) then iptrace is logging data. I would try logging a print session again.
If there is still no log then iptrace on the laptop needs attention.
