Hi Sheridan,
iptrace is working fine.
If I do lpr -s 192.168.2.1 -p lpt1 \autoexec.bat
I get a large log file.
If I start EMP and load autoexec.bat and click on Print, I get the error
message: Printer not responding The log file is zero length.
Sandy

>If it wasn't there did you look for it in another directory?
>If it was zero length, try turning on iptrace and browse a web site. If
>there is a log (probably huge) then iptrace is logging data. I would try
>logging a print session again.
>If there is still no log then iptrace on the laptop needs attention.
