Hang-up as in lockup, or as in hang-up a phone (disconnect).
In either case any way to avoid a reboot?

More than one machine. They also would not work in the summer at
100MHz, even with a heatsink on the hot chip and a dedicated fan.
SMC and Linksys NICs both seem OK.
