Have you gone into the LAN Setup notebook and turned on LPRPORTD?
1) Open TCP/IP Configuration (LAN) (I get to mine from the Programs folder, then in TCP/IP Internet
(LAN) folder)
2) click on the Autostart tab
3) click on lprportd
4) check Autostart Service
5) make sure 'detached' is selected
6) close the notebook
7) reboot
