I downloaded and installed the firmware upgrade without difficulty.
I now have:
runtime code version V1.40.004
boot code version v.1.00
Hardware version 01
Printer Status: READY
The printer driver properties have: Output port: \PIPE\LPD0
LPD Server: 192.168.2.1
LPD Printer: lpt1 (I also tried lp)
Sending a job to the printer gives the error message: Printer not
responding, etc. I went into Windows and it worked fine.
I think I must be very close -- just some tweak somewhere.
