There must have been leftovers in the pipe. If you search though the
trace, you will see reads and writes to port 80, which is your broswer. I
only mentioned it because I suspected you didn't realize it had happended.

Look for something related to "confirmations." That might be the right
term. It may be a port properties. I'll keep an eye open for where it
might be set.
