There have been testcase versions released since then, but nothing GA.

Well, if you choose to believe the APAR list is 100% accurate, that's your
choice. :-)

Pretty much. Netscape does have some formatting within the mail file
itself even though it's pure text. If that gets corrupted then you would
have no choice but to hack away with an editor.
