I sent this message to the support address for EE/EE almost a week ago and
have not received an answer:
>I apparently did something wrong when installing EEE/EE.
>Here is what I did.
>1. Ran the compressed file to create all of the individual files in
>C:\Enhanced E.
>2. Ran install.cmd from ZTBold setting up C:\EEE as the
>location for the files and C:\OS\DLL as the location of the DLL's
>What I got was:
>A desktop icon for EEE which indicated (in Properties) that EEE.exe was
>in C:\EEE and a second icon which indicated EE.exe was in the same
>directory. Neither icon opened the software it was supposed to.
>A directory structure like this:
>EEE with two files: install.log and uninstal.cmd
> Clip Text with three files: Readme1.txt, Readme2.txt, and
> Readme3.txt
> Plugins with no files
> Sound with four files: click1.wav, click2.wav, click3.wav, and
> click4.wav
>None of the EEE/EE DLL's were in C:\OS2\DLL.
>The install.log file said the DLL's in Enhanced E were copied to
>C:\OS2\DLL and all other files were copied to C:\EEE.
>What did I do wrong?
>Oh yes, I registered the product a day or two ago via BMT but have not

Has anybody else had this experience with installation and support?
(maybe I shouldn't expect quick support.)
I assume that copying (manually) the files (still in the temporary
directory) to the locations specified in the installation log is one way
to get the programs running. Is that assumption correct?
I got the program primarily so I could maintain and print config.sys with
less effort and to convert html to text. Now I wonder if I can trust it
to do these things and the others it claims to do.
I would appreciate comments from anyone who uses EEE and/or EE on both of
these points.
