Hi Butch
You seem still confused with the set of OS/2 Installation
Diskettes:

>Do I need to make config sys file change like above with
diskette #2
>replacement ?

The "numbering" of these set of diskettes is somehow stupid
(sorry!)
but it's really confusing !!

Creating from the CD you do read exactly what is going to be
created:

First created is Diskette 1 ... label it accordingly
Second created is Diskette 2 ... label it accordingly
Third (!!!) created is THE "Installation Diskette" ... label it
with
"0" / Zero or "Installation Boot Diskette" !!!

Your installation will start with THIS "Installation Boot
Diskette"
and continue according the system instructions with Diskette 1
and 2 !

Only Diskette 1 has a CONFIG.SYS !

It is very important to avoid mismatch, so do use the exact names
of
these Diskettes ;-)

Now you have the origin set of Diskettes from the mid-nineties ;-(
So it comes to the Warp4IU procedure:
Out from Warp4IU you will get 2 EXE files, one replacing Diskette
1
and a second for Diskette 2 !
Since you do not need the Diskettes 1 and 2 created from the
OS/2-CD,
you just extract Warp4IU_1 on to Diskette 1 and Warp4IU_2 to
Diskette 2.

After this your Diskettes 1 & 2 are up-to-date except the entries
we
had discussed. With any editor you modify the config.sys on
Diskette 1
with adding just on top of all entries:

SET COPYFROMFLOPPY=1
RESERVEDRIVELETTER=R

All done !?

That's all: Go ahead and boot your system with the Installation
Boot
Diskette and follow the instructions: Good luck !

Another suggestion:
You cannot replace IBM1S506.ADD with the DaniS506.ADD ...
... because snooping will fail because there is NO MOTRE
IBM1S506.ADD
if you do so !

One more problem with DaniS506.ADD:
The capacity of the floppy will be too small for an version
higher than
1.37 !

My suggestion:
Do your installation with the 3 Installation Diskettes and do the
replacement and all the FP after your installation meets your
needs ;-)

Regards, svobi
