Thus far, I've never done anything with the web space (probably around
5 mb.) that is automatically granted to me as part of my ISP service.
I can certainly take this up with them, but I'm wondering what is
possible, and what might be involved, re setting up an ftp site (one
as simple as possible) in this space ? OS-transparency would be nice
(something Java-based ?), but isn't that important. Ideally, it would
be something that is left running in this webspace at their end, and
not requiring any operation or continuous supervision from my end . .
. even though I tend to have my system running 24/7. A
set-it-&-forget-it type of deal would be great. Do you know of
anything fitting this description ?
