Wish I knew for sure, I fooled with them a lot! =

But, there are settings for having Mozilla remember passwords, which it
keeps asking for everytime I visit a site which uses passwords. So far I
haven't figured out how to shut that off (haven't made a concerted effort=

yet), but after erasing all existing passwords in Mozilla "tools/password=

manager/ manage stored passwords" and then ignoring/cancelling Mozilla
pop-up windows asking if I want to store/remember entered information
(while I'm accessing a web page), it seems much better. The first attempt=

to post to a newsgroup after a reboot would work, but subsequent attempts=

failed with an authorization error, so I think those stored passwords may=

have gotten in the way somehow. =

I believe Mozilla looks at Netscape settings during installation and
uses/converts them, so yours may turn out fine... I was upgrading from
Mozilla 1.0. =
