I guess my frustration here is that it ASKS me individually if I want the=
statement in error ("object handle to non-locatable path") to be deleted,=
but then it DOESN'T delete it .

OK, I sure appreciate the help (need all I can get!). I invoked WatchCat
once while the hang occurred today, and it showed PMSHELL.EXE with prg FS=
(65%) and prg PM (4%) using most of the processor, if that helps anybody
(doesn't mean much to me).
I think it was Peter who asked me about running UniMaint.... I don't have=
that, and it seems to me that when I chased it down on the web it was a
chargeable program. I can buy it if I must, I guess, but...........
