Not all versions of CSF supported commit in the same way. Some only
allowed you to commit the backup and not the archive. Look for a response
file containing something like:
:LOGFILE C:\OS2\INSTALL\SERVICE.LOG
:COMMIT
:SYSLEVEL C:\OS2\INSTALL\SYSLEVEL.OS2
This is what a commit response file looks like.
You might try fservice, There is a commit option in the menu.
The alternative is to manually commit:
- delete the archives
- delete the log* files in \os2\install
The details are explained in the recovery section of the fixpak readmes.
