Hi George,
Try _both_ of the following:
ping www.lafn.org
ping mail.lafn.org
and tell us what response you get.
If you get a "ping: unknown host" response, open your OS/2 System ->
System Setup -> TCP/IP Configuration program, then click on the Hosts
tab on the right side, and tell us what you have in the Nameserver
Addresses window.
