Michael:

Attached please find a not-yet-complete version of my Watcom
presentation (SCOUG.zip). It's mostly what I want it to be, so it should
provide you all the infomation you need. Unzip the archive, perserving
the internal directory structure of the zipped files. Start the
presentation by double clicking on the AGENDA.HTML file to open that up
in your browser. Then, there are hyperlinks to every other part of the
presentation.

The archive also contains the same content, written as a Describe
document (just in case you use Describe on your system). The Describe
file is named "Installing Watcom Presentation".

Steven and Carla:
You might want to take a quick look at the archive, too.

Now to answer your questions, Michael:

Yes, I believe you have all the folders. 8 of them,

binp binw eddat h lib286 lib386 samples src,

are from the Watcom download and of course there are several
subdirectories under them. Match up all of the subdirectories that you
get with my listing on the "Installing Watcom" page of my presentation.

The DDK download should have DDK\BASE\h, DDK\BASE\h386, DDK\BASE\ibmh,
DDK\BASE\inc, DDK\BASE\inc32, DDK\BASE\lib and a few others. You are
most interested in DDK\BASE\lib and DDK\BASE\ibmh

Unfortunately, there is no readme file with the Watcom download. You
simply download, unzip (perserving the internal directory structure) and
follow the directions as given in my presentation.

Please see the "Installing Watcom" page of the presentation for how to
modify the CONFIG.SYS, or create a runtime batch file. The "LIB" and
"LIBPATH" variables are different. The first one gives the path to the
Watcom and OS/2 Toolkit library functions. The second one is the path to
the various dynamic linked libraries (DLL's) on your system.

Include the path to DDK\BASE\ibmh and Watcom\h in the INCLUDE variable.
Include the path to DDK\BASE\lib, Watcom\LIB386 and Watcom\LIB386\OS2
in the LIB variable. It's all in my presentation.
