Hello Michael,
I did some checking on my system. Fortunately, you do not have to
download the entire IBM DDK. I believe that all you need is the
combase.zip file on the DDK site. It's 3,357,038 bytes in size. You
should find it in 3 different places on the DDK site:
1. Input/Output Device Drivers and Test Tools
2. Multimedia Device Drivers and Test Tools
3. Storage Device Drivers and Test Tools
Download and unzip it, retaining the subdirectory structure that's in
the zip file. Then, you must update the INCLUDE and LIB environmental
variables in the CONFIG.SYS file to point to the following 2 directories
created by the unzipping:
SET INCLUDE=...,;C:\DDK\BASE\ibmh;
SET LIB=...,;C:\DDK\BASE\lib\;
Above, the "...," is your already existing portion of the CONFIG.SYS
entry. Also, above, I assumed that you unzipped directly into the C:\
drive.
Good luck. Let me know how this turns out, OK
HCM
