It's just another example of the excellent tools that have come from the
unix side of computing. The switches can be daunting if you try to
understand them all. Most are for specical cases. My solution is to
ignore anything that doesn't seem to apply. I can always get more
complicated later if the simple approach does not apply.
To freshen up the tree with new entries, look at the -N option.
