Right. I wasn't careful about describing it, but mentioned this only to
convey that one jumper enabled/disabled both.

I'm not bothered by this as long as it doesn't cause other problems, and
I don't think it is.

I probably should, but didn't think that was my problem either. But
also, I have trouble with the Tyan site--NS usually locks up when I go
there.

Yeah, I believe that too, but what dumb thing am I not doing? I'd like
it to work, and not have to part with $ for other gear. I got the
Actiontec because I was told externals cost more, but with a little
looking around I see that I paid more for the Actiontec internal call
waiting modem (and I have _no_ need for call waiting) than several
external modems cost. I'll keep trying a little more.
