With your permission, I can copy your post to another list I subscribe to.  There are some sharp, rather  
accomplished folks there (whose expertise overlaps some of the areas you mentioned) who may have some  
suggestions for you . . . if they can be persuaded to parse your rather detailed narrative.  I'd be glad to  
serve as the messenger.
