When I looked at c:\desktop\OS!2 system\templates with ZTBold, I found:

formatted trace.ftf 0 .a.. 5/22/02 12:56:12 pm
formatted trace1.ftf 0 .a.. 5/28/02 8:15:10 am

I also found:

inferred.itf and inferred1.itf; SySlog Error.log and SySlog Error1.log;
and unformatted trace. itf and unformatted trace1. itf.

The bytes, attributes, dates and times for each pair of files was the same
as those I have shown for the formatted trace.ftf and formatted trace1.ftf
pair except that the time for the SYSlog Error.log was 12:56:10.

When I looked a c:\archives\ox\desltp[\OS!2 System\templates with ZTBold,
the only files I found were formatted trace.ftf, inferred.itf, Syslog
Error.log, and unformatted trace. The bytes, attributes, dates and times
were the same as those for the same files in c:\desktop\OS!2
system\templates. There were no files with the trailing 1.

Can someone suggest what created the files with the trailing 1 and why zip
thinks files with and without the trailing 1 are the same file? Can I
just delete the files with the trailing 1? Is it possible that there are
other pairs of files like these in other folders? I suspect the answer to
the last question is no. But should I have ZTBold sort all the files in
C: in ascending numerical order, look for these additional files, and
delete them?
