Sure, this is a good idea and is done so ;-)

Well, in the path there is no other file like this ;-))

Every system has a special directory called "WS" for Workstation.
This directory also contains the following subdirectories:

<< WS220 ** FiRE >> C:\WS >DIR

Volume in drive C is WS220_FIRE Serial number is 3D3A:A3BD
Directory of C:\WS\*

15.12.01 14.09

0 .
15.12.01 14.09 0 ..
15.12.01 14.09 336 PAGING
15.12.01 14.09 445 SPOOL
15.12.01 14.09 334 SWAP
15.12.01 14.11 573 SYS <<<<<
15.12.01 14.12 381 TEMP
15.12.01 14.12 380 TMP
15.12.01 14.12 894 TOOLS
0 bytes in 0 files and 9 dirs
428'416'512 bytes free

Under SYS is a subdirectory called Dani and there are the
following
subdirectories:

<< WS220 ** FiRE >> C:\WS\sys\dani >dir

Volume in drive C is WS220_FIRE Serial number is 3D3A:A3BD
Directory of C:\WS\sys\dani\*

15.12.01 14.11

0 .
15.12.01 14.11 0 ..
15.12.01 14.11 524 ATAPI
15.12.01 14.11 523 DASD
28.08.02 9.52 444 N512
15.12.01 14.11 677 PatchLDR
15.12.01 14.11 454 S506 <<<<<
0 bytes in 0 files and 7 dirs
428'416'512 bytes free of

and the directory S506 contains these 2 versions:

Volume in drive C is WS220_FIRE Serial number is 3D3A:A3BD
Directory of C:\ws\sys\dani\s506\*

15.12.01 14.11

0 .
15.12.01 14.11 0 ..
17.09.02 12.25 333 150
5.10.02 9.48 333 151
0 bytes in 0 files and 4 dirs
428'417'024 bytes free

Well, normally !!!
Testing with SmartMON and DaniS506.ADD is not regular ;-)

These 2 versions of Danis506 are the most accurate and the
previous for a possible rollback if necessary !

With this strictly controlled structure I do avoid doublettes
of similar files ;-))

Good night,
svobi
