When I opted to use option 1 at command line reboot, I am told that
current files are saved in \os2\archives\current. I viewed the file to
find it empty. In my ignorance, I ask, the programs I installed after
inititally setting up the system are gone and not saved in
\os2\archives\current ? The few programs I did install like adobe acrobat,
warpzip, and Mozilla are lost and need to be reinstalled? Also, the
updates from WarpUP that were added after the startup of the system will
also need to be reinstalled? Sorry for the basic questions. That is where
I am. It is sometimes not easy to ask questions when the jargon goes over
one's head. I've found that OS/2 is most unlike anything I've
encountered. It is very attractive to use, but requires constant
attention and detailed manipulation. I am sure other systems do as well,
but OS/2 puts you into control sooner than other systems. I want to thank
those of you who have attempted to help. I appreciate it. If I don't
respond immediately, it is more from my lack of knowledge and perplexion.
