If your unwanted printer is using OMNI drivers do delete the OMNI
directory shown in the display.
Be careful if you are using more than one printer using the i.e.
an OMNI driver !l
Do not delete the OMNI directory except your really want to do
a proper reinstalllation of all OMNI driven printers !
Another hint at this point:
To get all associations cleared before reinstalling the new
printer and its newest files
do a reboot of your system and use UniMaint or CheckINI to clean
before you reinstall.
Kind regards, svobi
PS:
What is the version of your IBMnull driver ?
30.433 ??
However, whenever I tried to install a newer driver I always got
NO newer version displayed ;-(
There seems to be a bug since years !

Subject: SCOUG-Help: Re: Printer drivers
I was having trouble with my printer, and I solved the problem by
deleting
and reinstalling the printer object.
Now, when I open a word processor or a browser, I have two
instances of my
printer listed.
I checked the Printer Properties, but there is only one icon
representing
that printer.
Somewhere there is another icon or file that needs to be deleted,
but I
can't find it.
Can someone point me in the direction where I should look?
Thanks,
Sandy
