How can you _force_ Mozilla's Profile Mgr. to convert existing, but
previously unconverted
profiles ? It seems to offer this option *only* the first time that
Mozilla is installed.
I tried to absorb the advice proffered here by Ray and others, in my
recent upgrade jump from
ver. 1.2a to 1.4a. But it did not get me to the desired result. Even
after copying the key old
Profile files into the new directory, it is clear that they are just
ignored, rather than triggering
any option to convert them.
Once I convert the residual unconverted profiles, I think I may be
able to restructure / rename
the directories to something more like what they were for 4.61. Names
that make more sense,
and run to a depth no more than what is necessary.
