Hi Peter & Harry
Thanks a lot for your prompt answers and your comments and suggestions.
I try to complement your answers and will comment directly into your

You are correct !
My phone installation is already like you described above ;-)
All my phone units are ISDN except the Fax-Answer-Modem only is analog !
I already do have a splitter dividing the incoming line to either phone =

or to the ADSL-ISDN modem !

=

That's exact what I would like to get ;-))
My intention is a plain and pure replacement of the cable modem =

with an ADSL/iSDN modem ...
=2E.. but I am facing some problems due lack of my experience oer =

knowledge ;-(

Here seems to be a misunderstanding regarding the static IP adress !?
The domain and e-mail part will not be affected with this change !
At the moment I am accessing the WWW with the cable ISP (Hispeed.CH =

resp Cablecom) and then get access to our domain and DNS providers.

>Do you run any servers that others can access by using your SYNass.net

Yes, our domain is already hosted and working at Green.CH

Yes, correct !

It's name is Digitus !?
It's manufacturer shall be Amit and shall be similar to the =

SMC 7008 Barricade Router.

I am not really sure but I do not think they do have FW's !?

>How many ports on the 650ME-i and 650R-i respectivel 650ME-13 or
650R-13 ?

There are only ONE port !
For more than one PC they suggest adding a hub / switch. =

It seems that the firmware of the 650ME-i alias 650ME-13 allows =

access with 4 PC's only !?

The URL's are:

Yes, exact !

My biggest worries are:
Since I cannot use ZyXel's Prestige 650ME-i alias 650ME-13 modem due =

its limitation to 4 PC's only I have to change to the Prestige 650R-i =

alias 650R-13 which is called a router and I already do have another =

router !?

OK, that's not a problem:
I do have both types of these cables.

I do hope that my "Swiss-German-English" is not too confusing !?
I also do hope that I am not causing some misunderstandings !?
However and once again:

Thanks a lot for your advise and suggestions ;-))

Kind regards, svobi
