That's always possible.  It's also possible the same apps are reacting 
differently to eCS.  What happens if you use Ctrl-Alt-Shift-F1 to bypass 
the Startup Folder apps?

I don't see any utilization info in the report, so it's not terribly 
useful.

You need to learn to use TOP the way it's intended to be used.  Use the 
Sort option and sort by usage.  Turn on the bar graphs if you like 
pictures.  Use the Log option and take a snapshot if you want a readable 
TOP.DMP file.  Find the apps with the largest utilization and figure out 
why.
