Hi Steven & Rocky
Thanks for your replies.
I believe that my system is quite accurate with the following
components:

WS221 ** FiRE >> C:\ >inetver /r
Version numbers of TCP/IP protocol drivers:
SOCKETS.SYS: 6.3100
AFOS2.SYS: 6.3100
AFINET.SYS: 6.3100
=

IBM TCPIP 4.32

How and what does needed to be setup !?
Any hints and suggestions are very appreciated !
=

An earlier version of pwICQ in a previous system level in the late
90-ties
was running but I did prefer IceCQ much better !

IceCQ worked until ICQ informed me that I am working with an obsolete
version =

of ICQ and I was told that within a certain time will have no access to
ICQ !!

This exactly has happened end of July till begin of August 2003 !!!

Since then IceCQ is going straightaway "OFFLINE" again when I =

try to go online ;-(

Since this discussion started I am re-trying pwICQ again and had =

no success with 2 versions: 0.29 (zip file) and 0.29d (wpi file) ;-((

It would be interesting to find and get a newer and proper ICQ =

solution but native OS/2 ! I am not keen with ODIN and WINstuff ;-(((

Cheers, svobi

Probably a setup problem. pwICQ works fine with the correct version of
the
TCP/IP stack. It will not work with the 16-bit stack.
