What I did:
(using Warp 4 FP 15, Kernel 14.094_w4)
I added the following lines to config.sys:
device=e:\os2\boot\unicode.sys
ifs=e:\os2\jfs.ifs /lw:5,20,4 /autocheck:* /cache:4096
run=e:\os2\system\lvmalert.exe
basedev=os2lvm.dmd
(I copied all the relevant files from eCS to Warp)
What happened:
Just after loading the SCSI drivers, I got the following message: c0000005
doscall1.dll 0002:0000a455 etc.
I then added:
device=e:\os2\boot\excphead.sys
What happened:
The system hung at exactly the same point except there was no message this
time.
I then changed:
basedev=danidasd.dmd to
basedev=os2dasd.dmd (using the eCS file).
What happened:
The system crashed trying to load the RSJ drivers.
What I haven't tried yet:
device=\os2\log.sys
ifs=\os2\boot\udf.sys
ifs=\os2\boot\cdfs.ifs
I don't know what those do or if leaving them out contributes to the
problem. Is there something I have left out that you can see?
Thanks,
Sandy
