I can heartily endorse ProNews as someone who paid for registration before it
was abandoned. I haven't used it much in a long time - my time for cruising the
newsgroups has been extremely limited - but the program was more feature rich
than, at least Free Agent and it had many more features than I really needed. I
don't think you'll be too disappointed. At worst, it'll just work differently
than you expect - it'll be a personal taste thing. Good luck.
