Did this ever get responded to? I too would like to get ecsmt up and running
but found the instructions way too cryptic to decipher (yes, I've read all the
readme's and all and I think I've been pretty flexible and adept at figuring
things out in the past so please try to get a little beyond the usual RTFM
response - I've put in the effort and so, apparently has Marty).

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
