OK - this is getting to be a real puzzle.
I completely deleted all files and subdirectories from \Mozilla. I
unzipped the 1.6b zip file and I added the lib0c4fix .dll files.

All plugins had been removed. The 1.6b file added one plugin.

No profiles were present.

I ran Mozilla.exe, both with and without the -makeprofile parameter.

Same thing each time: Splash screen appears very briefly and then
disappears.

Library path seems fine. Nothing in the popuplog.

Any suggestions before I go back to 1.4.1?
