I keep Netscape 4.61 as a sort of backup browser. I notice, however, that
it can't read certain web pages. I suspect it has something to do with
Java.
According to the help section, I have Jave 1.3.0 (jre) installed.
Mozilla works fine, but it is at a higher Java level.
I downloaded and installed the latest Netscape files (nspip30.exe) and it
says I am at the higest level. Is there a way to get Netscape to the Java
1.3.1 or Java 1.4 level? I tried copying some of the dll's from Mozilla
plugins to Netscape plugins, but that caused a crash when opening the
Netscape file (I think it was sys3175, but I can't remember for sure).
Thanks,
Sandy
