I never meant to imply that there's no need for DOS boot diskettes. I
just don't find them useful for much beyond BIOS updates. You can solve
the space problem by saving to a FAT partition on the hard drive.

You may or may not be making a mistake. It's always possible that the old
drivers do just do not work on the newer hardware you are using. It
happens all the time and it will take a lot of time and knowledge to
figure out if this is the case.

I'll be glad to look at them, but it's been a long time since I needed to
