Hello everbody
may I ask you something "off topic" to find a solution ?
For service purpose (exspecially for my old notebook without a CD-ROM) =
I would like to setup a boot procedure with DOS.
How do I set and what do I need as drivers with:
an Adaptec APA-1460 SlimSCSI (PCMCIA card)
an external SCSI case containing a CD-ROM (elder Plextor and a HDD
My intention is to set up an "emergency box" to be ready ...
=2E.. to solve special problems like BIOS updates, etc.
Another intention would be regarding the notebook:
All our PC's are connected to LAN ...
=2E.. how can I boot my notebook with DOS and get access to an CD-ROM =
of another PC in the LAN ?
I am not a techno nor an network "expert" and would appreciate very
much =
some easy understandable assistance / guidance or help ;-)
Thanks in advance, =
svobi
