Hi everbody
I am facing a very curious behavior of my system since I upgraded
to TCPIP 4.3 ;-(

With no print jobs in the queue the system starts normal and 3
POPspy jobs appear normally !
If I want print something it will be queued but NOT printed ;-((

I need to shutdown and reboot my system to get the print queue
done to paper !!
But starting like this these 3 POPspy jobs are not starting like
no connections to
the WWW are possible ;-((

After another reboot the connectivity to the WWW gets back to
normal
but printing is like described already ;-(((

I assume that something in my settings, which is similar to the
lower level TCPIP,
seems causing this malfunction ...
... but how and what to check and correct ???

My environment:
3 systems with static IP addresses (222, 224, 225) are connected
to an 8 Port Router
(ports 2, 4 and 5) and the IP is 192.168.xxx.254 and its port 8
links to the cable modem.

On port 7 is an NETgear PS113 Printserver with TCPIP
192.168.xxx.253 and 2 printers
connected on its PP's:

PP1 is an Canon BJc-6100
PP2 is an Canon BJ-230
PP3 is empty

Before I upgraded the TCPIP to the accurate level this all worked
pefect ;-)
The Canon BJc-6100 has an interesting feature auto-enabling the
unit with a print job sent
and auto-disabling the unit after a preset time (10 minutes) !

Except upgrading and my possible mis-setting there were no other
modification !?
What could this be ???

I do assume a conflict in my default / net settings of TCPCFG2
but I am unable to check for correctness ;-(
Your advice and suggestions are very appreciated ;-)
Thanks in advance
svobi
