Stop.

Your WarpCenter being "screwed up" may be as simple as a scrambled set
of dock*.cfg files.

Go to your \OS2\DLL\ directory and run DIR DOCK*.CFG. Then in a
separate window go to the identical directory on your backup drive L:
and run DIR DOCK*.CFG. Eyeball the two sets of dock*.cfg files and see
if any of the new ones are smaller than the old good ones.

If your dock0.cfg file is now small (when mine fails it becomes 46 bytes
long) and the backup is larger, I suggest that you 1) back up the new
screwed-up dock*.cfg files by moving them to a temp\ directory, and then
2) copy the backed-up dock*.cfg files to the \OS2\DLL\ directory. Then
reboot. Your WarpCenter just might return to unscrewed-up status.

I've done this often. Works every time. Your mileage may vary. :)

Explanation: The WarpCenter custom icons for your own apps and folders
(the "Trays" to the right of the cpu/diskspace monitor) are stored in
the dock*.cfg files. When the WarpCenter gets "screwed up" (your term!)
then you may have one or more mangled or reset dock*.cfg files.
