A google search on +Emerson +1500 +UPS brings up a lot of
hits; maybe one will lead you to some help.
Apparently something has failed in the control electronics;
if so you'd need an electronic technician, much aided by
a schematic diagram. If all else fails write a letter to
Nuts & Volts (editor@nutsvolts.com, www.nutsvolts.com) asking
for hints, a schematic, or volunteer to take it apart. N&V
runs lots of queries like this every month.
