I tried Dani's MEMTEST.EXE:
Int12 returns: 635 KiBytes
Int15 (88) returns: 65536 KiBytes above 1MiB
Int15 (C0) returns: PS/2 function Int15 (C7) is not supported
Int15 (DA88) returns: not supported
Int15 (E801) returns: 104788 KiBytes above 1MiB available
104788 KiBytes above 1MiB configuredd
Int15 (E820) returns mempry list:
635 KiBytes @ 0 K
104788 KiBytes @ 1024 K
No patch required
I installed kernel 14.093h distributed as: w420030415.zip
SYSINFO build 0.8.20 still reports 511.6 Mb of physical memory.
BIOS shows:
System Memory 640 KB
Extended Memory 1023 MB
The boot screen shows:
Phoenix ServerBios 2 Release 6.0
Built time 08/14/01 16:1057
TYAN TIGER MP
BIOS V 1.02
I do have a newer BIOS (V 1.04) that I have never installed. Could that =
make a difference, especially in light of the MEMTEST results above?
What else can I look at? Thanks!
