I searched all of SCOUG using the term " unimaint and checkini and
cleanini". The only Mr. KIA file I found was dated September, 2002 and I
didn't see the details I was hoping to see. I also found your article,
"Os/2 Troubleshooting" with more general information.
Did I screw up the search?
In the meantime, I am going to do selecected file/directory handle repairs
and follow your suggestions by doing only those I am sure should be done
(mozilla, invalid drive, a: drive, not visible via drives) and reset the
desktop until I get a reduced list to work with in trying to determine the
source of my previous screw-up.
My previous problems with Unimaint may stem from the fact that I am having
trouble with BA2K. File->restore and file->compare work fine but
file->backup locks it up so I have to close it via the window list. I
asked for help with problem via an email to the company but have
received no answer. The guy who handled help before is either on vacation
or has left. The current help goes back to the developers for answers.
