Sounds like a resource problem.  What happens if you discard your changes shutdown WinOS2 and restart?

What's your screen resolution?  Most older WinXX software was never tested beyond 1024x768 and a divide by zero at startup is often an indicator or
 exceeding the implementation limits for screen resolution.  What happens
 if you reduce the resolution to 800x600 or so?
